Job Description
- Operate and clean all waste-related equipment and facilities
- Promote the ship’s waste management and environmental programs
- Receive, process, store, and discharge waste on board the ship
- Monitor DCL Waste Management Policy, regarding separation
- Familiar with all safety and technical equipment used in the waste management facility
- Familiar with and comply with the safety and environmental policies
- Ensure waste handling procedures adhere to USPH regulations
Job Requirements
- Six months to one year experience as Garbage Handler on large cruise or passenger vessels preferred
- General deck experience considered
- Flexible in day-to-day activities
- Good communication skills
