The Yachting and Cruise Sales Manager is primarily responsible for generating new business for the company, with a specific focus on the Superyacht and Cruise industries. He or she is expected to prospect, present solutions, and create a pipeline of opportunities which are followed up and converted into new contracts.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Sales Manager will form part of an existing international team of Sales Managers and other members of the sales department.
**Responsabilities**:
- Meeting sales objectives for new revenue
- Identifying new leads through prospecting and generating new opportunities to keep a healthy sales pipeline
- Organizing and attending fairs and exhibitions
- Setting up meetings with prospects and explaining how we can help
- Preparing and presenting proposals, with the help of sales engineering if required
- Negotiating, overcoming objections, and closing the sales
- Keeping up to speed with the MT services through training
- Recording of commercial activity in the appropriate management system (CRM)
**Requirements**:
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude
- Proven prospecting skills and direct sales experience
- Experience in the superyacht industry, otherwise sales experience in IT, Telco, networking and/or cybersecurity will be valued.
- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
- Resident or citizen of the EU, and able to start employment at MT without requiring any visa or work-permit
- Available within 2 months
- Willing to travel
- Already based in Italy
