Job OverviewÓpportunity for a stew/cook on a brand new 50m motor yacht.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare and cook meals for the crew when guests are not onboard; cooking will not be required when guests are onboard as the owners' personal chef handles those meals.
Be professional, hands‐on and active, with interior/stewardess knowledge of housekeeping and service required.
Qualifications
Minimum: Level 2 Food Safety/Hygiene.
Positive: MCA Ship's Cook Certificate.
STCW95 ENG1.
Contract and Compensation
Seasonal to start; may become permanent position.
Start date: End of March.
Duration: Delivery end March 2026; vessel will sail across the Mediterranean, wintering in Italy – Tuscany.
Salary: DOE.
Leave: 3.6 days.
Other Requirements
Experience: 2+ years.
Driving licence.
Must be non‐smoker; no smoking on board.
Must be available to work aboard a 50m private motor yacht (Malta flagged) built to commercial standards but operated as private.
Candidate can be in a couple with a Bosun.
Location and Itinerary
Build location: Turkey (Delivery end March 2026).
Vessel travels with a 28m shadow vessel + a 12.5m chase vessel.
Total crew onboard 50m: 7 when guests not onboard and when cooking is required.
Itinerary: Med summer / Tuscany winter.
