Position reports to: Head of Sales, Marine Propulsion

This role is hybrid.

This role is contributing to the ABB Marine & Ports BL Propulsion and Propulsion Service .

Responsibilities

• Maintain budgets, forecasting and reporting customer actions in CRM.
• Screen projects to ensure alignment with company goals.
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers.
• Attend commercial and technical meetings.
• Conduct risk reviews to identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Oversee contract negotiations and maintain end users.

Qualifications

• M.sc or B. Sc Engineering, preferably in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
• Knowledge of DE electrical systems and Propulsion systems.
• A minimum 5 years of work experience from marine sales with a proven track record, preferably from a well‑known company in yachting.
• Target‑oriented and customer‑focused, with an outgoing and socially competent personality. We value team players with a “get it done” attitude.
• Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of other European languages, such as Italian or German is an advantage.
