In collaboration with Fincantieri Nextech SpA , the Manpower Group is seeking a SALES MANAGER CRUISE/FERRY to be based in Genoa .

JOB DESCRIPTION

The selected candidate will report to the Commercial Management of the Maritime LoB and will be responsible for managing existing relationships with clients (shipowners and/or Merchant Navy Division) and targeting new markets in the field of naval automation.

ACTIVITIES

The selected resource will personally manage relationships with clients and handle the most challenging and strategic offers. They will collaborate with the Bid & Proposal office and, in coordination with the “Sales & Cost Estimation” manager of the LoB, will assign requests for offers from the front-end team for the production of technical specifications and cost files, detailing materials and resources. They will utilize engineering support for non-standard products/systems and assist the sales team with all aspects related to the offer, including meetings with clients when required by the front-end.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma or degree in a technical field
2. Previous experience in Sales, client relations, requirement satisfaction, costs, and pricing
3. Previous technical experience in the merchant navy field
4. Excellent written and spoken English skills
5. Commercial sensitivity and personal characteristics such as empathy, problem-solving, and results orientation.

Work Location

• Genoa
• The candidate must be available for potential travel in Italy and abroad.
