As a Medical Officer on a luxury cruise line, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care to passengers and crew while traveling across the globe.
About the Role
- You will work as part of a dynamic onboard medical department under the supervision of a Senior Medical Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care to passengers and crew in accordance with international standards.
- Develop and implement effective medical protocols to ensure the health and wellbeing of our guests.
- Collaborate with other onboard teams to provide seamless service to our passengers.
- Manage and maintain accurate medical records and reports.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree and specialization (Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years post-grad clinical experience.
- At least 6 months in emergency settings (ER, ICU, ambulance etc.).
- Registered with an Italian Medical Council (Ordine dei Medici).
- Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).
- Valid ACLS, ATLS, APLS (or equivalent).
- Willingness to obtain compulsory certification for navigation (STCW).
- Strong clinical documentation & IT skills.
