Massage Therapists administer professional massage and body treatments to our onboard guests. The ideal candidate must have thorough knowledge of various massage modalities, possesses a general understanding of body treatments, and be willing to train in our specific massage and body treatment offerings. Excellent communication skills are required, and the candidate must be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
Qualifications:
- Qualified in Swedish massage with at least 150 hours of certified training
- Additional qualifications like aromatherapy, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Reiki, or Sports Massage Therapy are a great advantage
- All Caribbean nationalities must have an NCTVET (government) certificate/diploma
Visa Requirement:
- Eligible for a C1D visa to work on a Cruise Ship, valid for a minimum of 12 months
Training & Development:
- Successful candidates will train at The London Wellness Academy
- World-class massage therapy courses and professional development
- Trainers are experts in wellness and provide knowledge, skills, and confidence
- Diploma in Swedish Massage including anatomy and physiology is necessary
- Other courses like reflexology, Indian head massage, or aromatherapy are beneficial but not essential
