Marine Engineer | Marine & Shipbuilding Projects (New Build & Retrofit)
Looking to take ownership of HVAC systems in complex marine projects, from design to commissioning? LTH-Baas is expanding its team in Genoa and is looking for an Marine Engineer to join our Business Unit, contributing to both new build and retrofit shipbuilding projects across a variety of vessel types.
International shipbuilding projects Full-time As an Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of HVAC systems within marine projects, working across both engineering and site phases: Design and technical development of HVAC and piping systems Support installation, commissioning, and sea trials Ensure compliance with project specifications and marine standards
Degree in Naval Engineering ~2–5 years of experience in the marine or HVAC sector (at least 1 year in HVAC systems) ~ Experience with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, AVEVA, CADMATIC Marine) ~ Professional working proficiency in English and Italian ~ Experience with HVAC calculations and system sizing Exposure to commissioning, start-up, or sea trials
