OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Submarine Installation Marine Engineer role covers mainly the function of Installation Engineer in the office work and partially Offshore Manager/Deputy Offshore Manager in the offshore installation sites.  
You will enjoy: the following activities:
Installation Engineer – Office-Based Responsibilities
Prepare detailed installation documentation ("Installation Manual") including:
Operational procedures for cable installation (route clearance, PLGR, cable loading, laying, burial).
Installation schedules and asset planning.
Define and prepare installation assets (vessels, burial machines, equipment).
Marine Operation Superintendent – Offshore Responsibilities
Manage:
Route clearance, PLGR, pre-lay burial, vessel mobilization.
Cable repair and jointing operations.
Ensure adherence to HSE standards, technical procedures, and quality requirements.
Function requires significant travel on an international basis.
