Luxury Yacht Refit Specialist

Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee refits and new build projects, serving as the owner's technical expert and representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the owner's representative for new build or refit projects, liaising with shipyards, designers, contractors and classification societies.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual specifications, industry regulations and quality standards. Oversee detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment. Drive a team of experts for successful project delivery including interior managers, engineers, surveyors, consultants, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

The Project Manager must have strong knowledge of superyacht construction, engineering systems and regulatory compliance. A degree in naval architecture or marine engineering is advantageous. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in project management tools/software; ability to work under pressure; and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel internationally is required. Must have proven experience in yacht charter brokerage, yacht marketing, yachting or maritime sector; minimum 5 years preferred. Proven track record delivering luxury experiences and managing high-value assets such as yachts, megayachts and vessels; ensures customer satisfaction and client relationships growth across global markets.
