Alberto Simeone Yacht Design & Engineering , through its operating company Forma S.r.l. , is looking for a motivated Junior Yacht Designer / Junior Naval Architect to join our multidisciplinary team, working on all aspects of naval design — from initial concepts to the development of detailed construction drawings (structures, systems, interiors, and exterior fittings).
Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of concepts and technical solutions for various types of vessels;
- Create 3D models and detailed technical drawings;
- Collaborate closely with the design, engineering, and production teams;
- Assist in project analysis, optimization, and verification phases;
- Research materials, technologies, and sustainable design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Yacht Design, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field;
- Proficiency in design and drafting software, including Rhinoceros 7, AutoCAD LT, and other 2D/3D tools;
- Experience with rendering, visualization, and graphic design software;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
- Good command of English (required); knowledge of Italian (preferred).
