Job Description

• Operate and clean all waste-related equipment and facilities
• Promote the ship’s waste management and environmental programs
• Receive, process, store, and discharge waste on board the ship
• Monitor DCL Waste Management Policy, regarding separation
• Be familiar with all safety and technical equipment used in the waste management facility
• Comply with safety and environmental policies
• Ensure waste handling procedures are in accordance with USPH regulations

Job Requirements

• Six months to one year experience as Garbage Handler on large cruise or passenger vessels preferred
• General Deck experience considered
• Flexible in day-to-day activities
• Good communication skills
