Shop Manager Position Overview
The successful Shop Manager will be responsible for the overall retail area of a cruise ship, overseeing operational, sales, and visual merchandising activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire retail area, including coordinating operational, sales, and visual merchandising activities
- Achieving and exceeding sales and service targets
- Creating a memorable and engaging shopping experience for guests
- Managing and motivating a multicultural team of sales associates, specialists, and supervisors
- Coordinating merchandise loading/unloading and maintaining cleanliness in retail areas
- Monitoring sales performance and preparing reports and voyage feedback
- Actively collaborating with onboard and shore-based management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail (preferably in fashion, beauty, or luxury sectors)
- Team management and leadership skills
- Training in sales techniques and visual merchandising
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Fluent English (B2 level) and a second European language (Italian, French, German, or Spanish – B2 level)
