Cruise Ship Maintenance Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cruise Ship Maintenance Manager, where you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our vessel's machineries.
About the Role
You will serve as a role model, responsible for performing engine watch operations. You'll be responsible for controlling and maintaining machineries, updating and controlling the planned maintenance system (PMS) and ensuring safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Operations: Ensure the proper functioning of all shipboard systems and equipment.
- PMS Management: Update and control the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Safety Standards: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) as per STCW regulations.
- At least one year of experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise vessel or 2nd Engineer on different kinds.
- B2 spoken level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Good communication skills; you are a curious, organized and determined person with experience in people management.
