Watch Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Watch Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and maintaining machinery on board a cruise vessel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engine watch operations as a role model and maintain safety standards.
  • Update and control the planned maintenance system (PMS) in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee maintenance and checks according to PMS for designated tasks in cooperation with the Senior Engineer of the watch.
  • Maintain national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III / 2 unlimited) as per STCW regulations.
  • Have at least one year of experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise vessel or 2nd Engineer on different kinds.
  • Hold a B2 spoken level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
