Cruise Ship Medical Professional Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a ship's doctor on a prestigious passenger cruise line.
Your role will involve providing medical care to both passengers and crew, working under the supervision of a medical director within a structured onboard medical department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing primary and emergency medical care to passengers and crew
- Working collaboratively with other medical professionals in the onboard medical team
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A medical degree and relevant specialization (e.g. anesthesiology, emergency medicine, critical care)
- A minimum of 3 years post-grad clinical experience
- At least 6 months' experience in emergency settings (e.g. ER, ICU, ambulance)
- Registration with an Italian medical council
- Fluency in English (B2 level or higher)
- Valid ACLS, ATLS, APLS certifications (or equivalent)
- A willingness to work onboard for approximately 6 months per year, split into 3-4 month contracts
- A valid STCW certification (or willingness to obtain)
