Eurolink S. C.p. A., an international consortium of companies led by Webuild and tasked with designing and building the Messina Strait Bridge, is looking for a Civil Marine Engineer to join its Engineering department at the construction site.
The position involves coordinating and supervising maritime engineering activities related to the Messina Bridge project, ensuring the correct planning, validation, and technical integration of design and construction solutions. After one year, the person will be permanently assigned to the project site.
Main activities:Definition and evaluation of design solutions for the project's maritime works
Analysis of technical critical issues and proposal of improvement solutions
Coordination with engineering teams, external designers, and specialist suppliers
Periodic inspections of the areas affected by the temporary and permanent works
Support to Technical Coordinators in the preparation of technical bids and the definition of construction methods
Assistance to technical services and the Project Management in the verification of the executive design and the management of any variations
Reporting and capitalization of the technical know-how gainedRequirements:Master’s degree in civil engineering, Hydraulics (Maritime specialization), or Geotechnical Engineering
10–15 years of experience in the maritime sector (design or construction)
Knowledge of construction techniques, planning, and site supervision
Familiarity with bathymetric and topographic surveys
Excellent knowledge of Italian and fluent English
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat
Leadership and excellent interpersonal skills
Aptitude for teamwork and results-oriented mindset
Autonomy, technical rigor, and problem-solving skills
