Role Overview
2nd Engineer on a 50m ISA private/charter motor yacht with twin screw MTU engines. Starting April 2026. Salary euros, 38 days leave. Permanent role. Schengen/Visa‑Free Exemption (or EU Resident). Itinerary: France, Italy (Summer) / Med (Winter).
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer in maintenance and operation of all engineering systems onboard.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and efficient vessel performance.
Monitor machinery performance, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues.
Familiarity with tenders and jet‑ski operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant engineering qualifications (Y4 or AEC 1 & 2 certificate).
Minimum 2+ years marine engineering experience.
Solid understanding of yacht systems.
Contract & Compensation
