Role Overview
2nd Engineer on a 50m ISA private/charter motor yacht with twin screw MTU engines. Starting April 2026. Salary euros, 38 days leave. Permanent role. Schengen/Visa‑Free Exemption (or EU Resident). Itinerary: France, Italy (Summer) / Med (Winter).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Engineer in maintenance and operation of all engineering systems onboard.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and efficient vessel performance.
- Monitor machinery performance, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues.
- Familiarity with tenders and jet‑ski operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant engineering qualifications (Y4 or AEC 1 & 2 certificate).
- Minimum 2+ years marine engineering experience.
- Solid understanding of yacht systems.
