Key Responsibilities

The Sales Specialist is a vital member of the sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expansion across key markets.

This role involves developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth, enhancing the value proposition of services, and managing various commercial projects.

  • Enhance the value proposition of services to expand the market and create business opportunities aligned with brand identity.
  • Implement commercial strategies to drive revenue and business growth.
  • Manage commercial projects, focusing on key target areas.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to develop detailed business plans for expansion, budgeting, client prospecting, and adapting to industry changes.
  • Interpret market trends to provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Foster customer satisfaction by understanding and communicating client requirements.
  • Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and write bids; assess risks and opportunities when acquiring or losing accounts.
  • Nurture key client relationships (new and existing) and build profitable partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate commercial performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for management.
  • Support departmental budget preparation and financial monitoring.
  • Set individual commercial targets with senior leadership and coordinate action plans.
  • Provide guidance to operations regarding sales and commercial activities.
  • Optimize CRM systems and negotiate ongoing contracts with customers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Relevant experience in the yachting industry, coupled with strong knowledge of the market.
  • Proven experience in commercial and sales roles, with a focus on managing key client relationships.
  • Prior experience in yacht agency operations and team management is preferable.
  • A solid understanding of performance reporting and financial processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Confidence in delivering formal presentations.

  • Availability for business travel.
  • Flexibility with working hours and schedule.
