Requirements:
  • Min 2 years’ experience as a massage therapist
  • Professional certification for massage therapist
  • Experience in 4* or 5* operations (Hotel and/or cruise ships) preferred
  • Basic Fitness or Yoga Instructor certificate can be a good advantage
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
  • Team player
  • Problem solver, troubleshooter
  • Work under pressure and stressful situation
  • Smart presentation
  • Familiar to work in a multicultural environment

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Providing professional and courteous service according to the Company standards and procedures
  • Offering and promoting complimentary massages on embarkation day in the lounge
  • Offering treatment samples lasting no longer than 5 minutes in public areas free of charge in alliance with Cruise Director.
  • Ensuring active involvement in reaching higher guest satisfaction, including participating in additional Entertainment activities as per Company standard
  • Welcoming and greeting of guests according to the Company standard
  • Actively promoting and recommending the available SPA services according to guest's needs and in alliance with the Cruise Director
  • Providing complimentary 30-minutes-massages to the crew (one crew per day only) on availability.
  • Providing regular daily scheduled sports activities such as, stretching or Nordic walking as per instruction of Cruise Director
  • Providing yoga and meditation/stretch classes
  • Retaining full knowledge of the SPA menu
  • Assisting with purchasing orders including stock items, monthly inventory, and delivery control
  • Retaining full knowledge of the daily program
  • Informing Supervisor immediately about any guest complaint
  • Ensuring correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Notifying Supervisor about breakage and damage of all equipment, furniture, and machinery
  • Maintaining cleanliness front and back of the house according to HACCP regulations, in particular the treatment rooms
  • Participating in all Safety Drills as per Captain's orders and ensuring solid knowledge of designated Safety role
  • Reporting any potential Safety hazards immediately

Side Tasks:
  • Participating in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings
  • Fulfilling further job-related duties as instructed by the Supervisor, such as luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Assisting with monthly inventories as per Supervisor's instruction
  • Welcome back face towels – preparation and service when not busy with spa services
  • Pool/Jacuzzi area cleaning and exchange of towels when not busy with spa services
  • Refill of ESPA cabin amenities in guest suites – assist HK
  • Assisting with embarkation duties as directed by HM
  • Guest Cycling/Walking tours – as directed by Cruise Director
  • Ensuring gym is well maintained and cleaned daily
