The successful candidate will work as part of the busy, fast paced Engineering team on the development of new and innovative powerboats within DeAntonioYachts design team. DeAntonioYachts designs and produces boats for the powerboat leisure market. Currently in its 10th anniversary, production is done in Europe and boats are sold world wide.

Key responsibilites & accountabilities

D modelling & 2D drawings for production from concept design

BOM's for new an ongoing projects. Population and maintenance of existing ones

Weight estimate for new and ongoing projects.

Communication with yard to ensure correct projects implementation

Research and proposal of boat equipment

Develop ready production solutions from a concept design phase

Design and detail all systems onboard, from concept to build

Organize tasks and timings for yard production

Qualifications & Skills

B.Eng in naval engineering, naval architecture, mechanical engineering, aeronautic, or equivalent.

to 5 years of experience in marine technical office/yard

D CAD & 2D CAD. Professional Proficiency on parametric CAD.

Familiar with naval architecture principles

Composite structures & mechanical engineering mind set

Able to liaise with other engineers/designers to optimize overall design

Capable of performing standard engineering calculations

Previous experience with composite manufacturing products

Fluent in English and/or Spanish
