The Senior Concierge is a key leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Concierge team onboard. Collaborating with the Assistant Destinations Experience Manager, this role ensures smooth shore collections and effective communication with the Concierge. Duties include managing schedules in planning software, overseeing tour escort plans, and providing comprehensive training on destinations.

Essential Duties
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager of Destination Experiences to ensure the smooth delivery of shore collections.
- Assume daily oversight of the Concierge team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest service.
- Manage the tour escort plan, schedule, and training to enhance guest experiences during excursions.
- Conduct training sessions for the Concierge team on destination information and the tour program.
- Finalize Port Snapshots for the next port of call, including insightful information and departure times.
- Review top suites bookings and propose proactive actions to anticipate guest needs.
- Liaise with Suite Ambassadors to effectively communicate and coordinate all onboard requests and private arrangements with guests.
Qualifications
- Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position
- Possess a minimum of three (3) years of concierge or shore excursion experience, with a track record of supervising and training a team.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for creating clear and informative documentation.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
