ppMar Recruitment Consulting, a specialized consultancy within the maritime and logistics sector, is currently seeking a RIGGER for a position based in Mallorca, to join a leading international marine services provider specialized in the maintenance and repair of sailing yachts and superyachts. /ppAs a Rigger you will be responsible for stepping and commissioning a variety of projects from superyachts to race yachts and expected to deliver the highest standards within the marine industry. Rigging, sailing, practical maintenance of masts and booms will be your primary roles. To get your goals, you will work together with an experienced team of Project Managers, other Riggers, Designers, Contractors and Mast Technicians. /ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliTo keep up to date with all project communication with the ability to provide knowledgeable input when necessary. /liliTo identify customer needs and propose to fulfil them with the appropriate company services or products. /liliTo contribute to the development of technical and practical solutions. /liliTo be able to communicate effectively with all parties involved within the project. /liliTo understand project budgets and contribute to the development of project timeline, estimates and proposal. /liliTo liaise on multiple international projects and stakeholders. /li /ulh3Technical skills /h3ulliAround 5 years’ experience in a similar role. /liliProfessional sailing experience or working as shore crew. /liliExperience with carbon fibre products, mechanical works and understanding of hydraulics/electrical systems will be an advantage. /liliUniversity Degree or related.
