As a Pastry Demi Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent quality standards, assisting in the training of Commis, and ensuring hygiene and safety protocols are followed. Your Journey So Far
To be considered for this role you need to:
1. Have valuable experience working in pastry kitchens, preferably in an industrial production environment. No need to have shipboard experience but preferable.
2. Demonstrate strong knowledge of pastry techniques and basic recipes, an eye for details and the ability to work under pressure and time management.
3. You have showcased leadership qualities and a passion for team collaboration.
4. You are now ready to advance your skills in a dynamic and frenetic cruise environment.


Your Essentials
To qualify for this position, you must have:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Demi Chef De Partie in a similar kitchen environment, ideally within the cruise industry.
2. Fluent English
3. Passion for pastry with a keen eye for presentation and a desire to innovate within the pastry field.
4. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various pastries: preparations, techniques and methods.
5. Excellent understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
7. Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
