Job position for Super Yacht New luxury yacht with 70 crew. Is sailing in Seychelles during the winter, and will move to the Med/Adriatic for the summer season.

The Pastry Chef has the full responsibility for all aspects of the daily Pastry operation, including controlling of all costs. Must feel comfortable to work in a small environment, and take an active part in the actual food preparation and to ensure that desserts and pastries are consistently prepared. Directly in charge of 2 staff and reports directly to Head Chef on board. New luxury.

Position requirements

Culinary Institute Diploma or apprenticeship as Patissier required

Minimum of four (4) years experience in a luxury food operation as Assistant Pastry Chef or three (3) years experience on board

European trained

A sound knowledge of culinary arts and fine dining

Strong background in International Cuisine and Cooking Techniques

Highly motivated with a strong drive and high level of energy and flexibility

Excellent leadership skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people

Fluent in English

Duration of the contract 4-5 month contract with two months off rotation. + renew
