As a sales professional in the luxury yacht industry, we seek an individual who can operate across multiple markets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify new commercial opportunities and enhance value proposition through direct relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Sales Strategies: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue and business growth.
  • Commercial Project Management: Manage various commercial projects focusing on multiple markets.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to develop detailed business plans for expansion, business development, budgeting, and client prospecting.
  • Trend Analysis: Interpret yachting market trends to adapt to industry changes and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer needs are met by understanding and communicating client requirements.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and write bids; assess risks and opportunities when acquiring or losing accounts.
  • Key Client Relationships: Manage and nurture key client relationships.
  • Partnerships: Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor commercial performance through key metrics and prepare periodic reports.
  • Budget Preparation: Support departmental budget preparation and financial monitoring.
  • Target Setting: Set individual commercial targets and coordinate action plans.
  • Guidance and Optimization: Provide guidance regarding sales and commercial activities; manage and optimize the CRM system.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate ongoing contracts.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in the yachting industry and strong knowledge of the market.
  • Commercial and Sales Experience: Proven experience in commercial and sales roles with a focus on managing key client relationships.
  • Yacht Agency Operations: Preferably with experience in yacht agency operations and team management.
  • Performance Reporting: Solid understanding of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in delivering formal presentations.
  • Results-Oriented: Highly results-oriented.
  • Availability: Available for travel.
  • Flexibility: Flexible with working hours and schedule.
