The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team based in Barcelona . This is a client‑facing role responsible for managing yacht refit, repair, maintenance, and upgrade projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery.


The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating internal teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:



  • Managing yacht refit, repair, maintenance, and upgrade projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between the company and clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Defining project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets in collaboration with technical and operational teams.
  • Coordinating production, technical, logistics, and procurement activities to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring punctual delivery of all assigned projects.
  • Managing project schedules, milestones, costs, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting business development initiatives where appropriate.
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Resolving project‑related issues proactively and implementing effective solutions when challenges arise.
  • Preparing and presenting regular project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Supporting the successful handover of completed projects and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction throughout the process.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in project management within the marine, yacht refit, shipbuilding, engineering, or related technical sectors.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and project reporting.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, particularly in technically complex or fast‑paced environments.
  • Proven experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance client expectations with operational requirements.
  • Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish . Catalan would be considered an advantage.

Desirable but not Mandatory Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Marine Studies, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Formal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, APMP, or equivalent).
