Role Overview

The Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and revenue generation. Based in the Barcelona area, this position requires a proactive individual to identify new opportunities, enhance value propositions, and manage client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development: Identify and capitalize on new commercial opportunities to expand the market and create aligned business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue and business growth.
  • Commercial Project Management: Manage various projects across the Barcelona area market.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to develop detailed business plans for expansion, development, budgeting, and client prospecting.
  • Trend Analysis: Interpret industry trends to adapt to changes and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer needs are met by understanding client requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, develop client relationships, prepare proposals, and write bids; assess risks and opportunities when acquiring or losing accounts.
  • Relationship Management: Manage key client relationships (new and existing).
  • Partnerships: Build profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance through key metrics and prepare reports for management.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Relevant experience in the yachting industry and strong market knowledge.
  • Commercial Experience: Proven experience in commercial and sales roles, focusing on managing key client relationships.
  • Team Management: Preferably with experience in yacht agency operations and team management.
  • Reporting Skills: Solid understanding of performance reporting and financial processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities.
