We are currently searching for an Italian Sous Chef Required for Silversea Cruises a 6* Luxury Cruise Company


We are currently searching for an experienced Italian Chef who can run an Italian outlet, catering for up to 100 guests per evening.


Managing a small team, your role is to ensure that every plate in your outlet is up to our very high standards, meets both presentation and taste expectations and the galley meets all health, safety and food hygiene standards.


As part of the supervisory team for the galley, you will also be involved in food hygiene inspections, stock control, ordering, rostering and general admin.


The role is diverse and as a chef and supervisor, you would need to be to!


To be considered for this position, you would require:


  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management chef role in a fine dining establishment
  • Have experience of working in a multi-national team
  • Work with regularly changing menus (on ships they change daily)
  • Training and developing of team
  • Good computer skills
  • Fluent English
  • Culinary qualifications
