We are looking for an F&B Operations Specialist with deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the cruise F&B sector to join our team.


If you have a strong background in professional cooking, combined with solid expertise in F&B business management and cruise operations , this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Requirements & Qualificantions


Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
  • At least 3 years of experience in F&B specifically within the cruise industry.
  • Cruise operations experience is mandatory.


Education:


  • Degree or formal training in Gastronomy.
  • Specialized training in Restaurant Management and F&B Business Operations.


Skills:


  • Deep understanding of kitchen management in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent customer service and advisory abilities.
  • Business management knowledge, especially in chains and franchises.
  • High level of English (C1 minimum – a proficiency test will be required).
  • Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
  • International work experience is a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize information, manage client communication effectively, solve problems, think creatively, and maintain a strong business vision.


Main Responsabilities



You will be responsible for one of the company’s key accounts, managing a significant operational area and reporting to the Account Lead.

Your role will focus on the F&B operations of cruise vessels, overseeing and managing the assigned scope of the account and providing expert operational support.

• Organize and manage team operations.

• Provide consulting on all aspects related to Cruise F&B Department operations.

• Offer advisory support for culinary and BOH-related matters.

• Analyze restaurant P&Ls and financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct menu engineering and kitchen flow analysis.

• Develop SKU studies and manage internal kitchen operations.

• Oversee procurement and supply chain processes.

• Propose and implement improvements to operational processes.



In essence, this role will position you as the F&B Operations Lead for our client, providing strategic consulting, operational improvement, and ongoing advisory support.

We are seeking someone with a global perspective on the F&B industry, proven cruise operations experience (minimum 3 years), the ability to guide clients in improving their operations, and the skills to develop new recipes or adapt culinary techniques to increase efficiency.



Additional Skills


• Experience in multi-unit restaurant operations.

• Proficiency with restaurant management tools.

• Knowledge of design software (InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.
