Technical Yacht Support Specialist
A prestigious yacht company is seeking a highly skilled Technical Yacht Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support and service to yacht owners, captains, and crews.
The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex maintenance and repair projects.
- Manage outstanding warranty lists and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Liaise and coordinate with captains, crew, owners' teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, refit projects, and technical upgrades.
- Provide technical guidance and support to yacht crews, ensuring systems' reliability and performance.
- Monitor and manage relationships with local service providers and subcontractors.
Key Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in aftersales, service management, or technical operations within the superyacht or sailing yacht sector.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of yacht systems (mechanical, electrical, rigging, and deck equipment).
- Proven project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and relationship management abilities.
