As a Light Technician, you will program, position, operate, and maintain all aspects of lighting, show control, and haze/low fog systems in various entertainment venues and activities. You will work closely with the Head Sound and Light Technician to ensure all related consumables are replenished and available.
Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required, Bachelors or Associates in Technical Theater, Sound, Lights, A/V preferred, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 yearsβ experience with live theatrical and musical performances.
Ability to be collaborative and have a creative eye to provide programming support for non-scripted shows and events.
Run and maintain lighting networks/controls/interfacing with other software, i.e. QLab and Coolux media servers.
Proficient in programming and operation of lighting systems, such as those from Pathport, Wholehog and ETC.
Knowledge and understanding of network-based lighting distribution, as well as routine maintenance and upkeep on conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures.
Strong pogramming/operational experience on HOG and/or GrandMa, Avolites and/or EOS systems required.
