Requirements
  • Min. 1-years' experience in the galley operation
  • Conversational level in the English language
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Awareness of waste management and recycling
  • Self-organized, disciplined, reliable and a team player
  • Stress tolerant
  • Familiar with a multicultural working environment
  • Willing to assist with other duties

Role and Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and courteous service at designated workstations in accordance with company standards and procedures
  • Ensure proper procedures and setup at the assigned workstation in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with vegetable cleaning, cleaning of fridges and storerooms as instructed by the supervisor
  • Ensure correct storage of cleaning materials and chemicals
  • Ensure correct utilization and recycling of food leftovers, assuring food safety rules and regulations are followed
  • Clean and polish chinaware
  • Notify the supervisor about breakage and damage of any equipment and machinery
  • Maintain cleanliness in front and back of the house according to HACCP and safety regulations
  • Ensure correct handling of all equipment, machinery, and chemicals
  • Always wear a clean and presentable uniform when in public areas
  • Report any potential safety hazards

Side Tasks
  • Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
  • Assist with monthly inventories as per the supervisor's instructions
  • Assist other departments as per the supervisor's instructions
  • Participate in all safety drills and ensure solid knowledge of designated safety role
