Overview Medical Doctor Role on a Cruise Ship
We are seeking a qualified medical doctor to join our team on board a cruise ship, providing healthcare services to guests and crew while sailing the world.
Responsibilities Provide individualized outpatient, inpatient and ICU care for guests and crew, including emergency and acute care as part of a multidisciplinary shipboard team.
Work closely with shipboard nurses and paramedics, reporting to the Senior Doctor; coordinate logistics of referrals and evacuations as needed.
Qualifications Medical Degree and current registration and licensing with an appropriate governmental or national regulatory body.
At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience in emergency medicine, acute care or ICU.
Valid accredited ALS / ACLS certificate is required before joining a vessel.
PALS and ATLS certifications may be required before completing the first year of employment.
