Cruise Ship Housekeeping Operations Manager

Job Description:

The Executive Housekeeping Manager oversees the daily operations of housekeeping and laundry services onboard a cruise ship.

This role is critical to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation in all areas of the ship, including guest staterooms, corridors, officer cabins, laundry facilities, and storage spaces.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, with experience in supervising teams of 70+ employees and managing budgets exceeding $1 million annually.

The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of empowered individuals, mentoring and developing staff, and overseeing scheduling and budget management for the housekeeping division.

The Executive Housekeeping Manager will also be responsible for maintaining safe working conditions, enforcing organizational standards and regulations, and promoting workplace safety.

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and proficiency in languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, French, German, or Portuguese.
