Role Overview:
Casino Cashier
The primary objective of the Casino Cashier is to provide exceptional customer service while facilitating financial transactions, ensuring a seamless gaming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process cash, coins, chips, checks, credit, and other monetary notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with guests, resolving problems, and negotiating resolutions.
- Operate coin counters, chip mechanisms, and 10-key adding machines efficiently and accurately.
- Perform calculations involving counting chips, cash, coins, and preparing reconciliation reports with precision.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of software packages such as Excel and Word.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with guests, department heads, and shipboard employees.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of cash handling experience in a customer contact position within the hotel banking, casino, or related industry.
- Shipboard experience is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or basic education equivalency is preferred.
