Mar Recruitment & Consulting seeks a COMPOSITE TECHNICIAN for a position based in Mallorca, to join a leading international marine services provider specializing in maintenance and repair of sailing yachts and superyachts.
Responsibilities
Carry out composite upgrades or repairs with pre‑preg and wet laminating techniques.
Careful removal of damaged composite material and preparation work for composite repairs.
Answer possible questions from customers on issues related to composite repairs and upgrades.
Assist project managers in proposing scope and price to customers.
Support in the improvement of standard operating procedures for composite materials.
Keep abreast of all project communications and provide input when required.
Support national and international on‑site projects to ensure that equipment, repairs, or services are completed on time, to specification and to an acceptable standard of excellence.
Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the project.
Assist with the development of the composite department facilities and processes.
Technical Skills
3–5 years of composite building experience.
Knowledge and experience of repairing carbon fibre parts & structures.
Valid driving licence.
Personal Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, ethically performance driven, organized under pressure.
Problem‑solving mindset with a can‑do attitude.
Experience with mechanical products.
Desire to travel and work internationally when required.
Availability to travel.
