JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing beverage service in accordance with the Company’s standards while also incorporating excellent sales techniques to generate revenues for the Beverage Department. Responsible for the immediate supervision of the barbacks, and other personnel assigned to their bar area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons according to the standard recipes.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meet the legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years experience in F&B industry
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Computer or POS literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Food handlers’ certificate
- Bartender certification a plus
