This is what awaits you on your journey with us:
- You are responsible for the preparation of all baked goods (bread, rolls, croissants, etc.) on board and report to the Chef de Cuisine.
- Every day, you create baked goods for guests and crew using fresh ingredients and homemade dough.
- You record and order the ingredients you need in the ship’s own inventory management system.
- For special evenings, occasions and special requests, you can conjure up thematically appropriate pastries in your bakery.
- You coordinate and direct your assistant according to the plan.
- Duration of your first contract: 3 - 6 months (also by individual agreement)
This is what you bring on board:
- Completed training as a baker and experience in the bakery business
- Very good specialist knowledge in food science
- Your own recipe book and creations bring a breath of fresh air on board.
- You are reliable and resilient and have no problem thinking outside the box.
- Getting up early and organizing your workday yourself doesn't throw you off track.
- Well-groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good knowledge of German and English
