Your Purpose: As an Assistant Youth Staff Manager, you will play a key role in delivering unforgettable entertainment experiences for our young guests aged 3 to 17. Under the guidance of the Youth Staff Manager, you will oversee the entertainment team, ensuring engaging and dynamic activities that align with our cruise line’s high standards. Your leadership will help create a safe, exciting, and educational environment where children and teenagers can explore, learn, and have fun while parents enjoy peace of mind.


Your Impact: Your role extends beyond simple supervision you will be a mentor, entertainer, and guide to both our young guests and the youth staff team. By fostering a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere, you will enhance the overall cruise experience for families, ensuring a memorable journey for every child on board. Your ability to lead and support a diverse team will ensure smooth operations, from themed activities to interactive workshops, guaranteeing that each day at sea is full of joy, laughter, and adventure.


Your Journey So Far:
1. Proven experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar setting—preferably on board a cruise ship.
2. Strong ability to engage, communicate, and entertain children and teenagers from diverse backgrounds.
3. Documented certification to supervise young children (ages 3 and above).
4. Demonstrated expertise in managing structured entertainment programs, ensuring age-appropriate activities that captivate and educate.
5. Leadership skills to efficiently coordinate and support a team, ensuring smooth operations and a secure environment for all young guests.


Your Essentials:
1. Relevant qualifications in child development, education, recreation, or entertainment.
2. Fluency in English (oral and written) and at least one additional European language.
3. Proven experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar child-focused environment, ideally on board a cruise ship.
4. Strong interpersonal and entertainment skills, with the ability to engage with guests of all ages.
5. Certified ability to supervise young children (ages 3 and above).
6. Leadership and teamwork skills to manage and support the youth entertainment team.
