3rd Engineer Officer, Officer of the Watch reporting to the Second Engineer Officer, is responsible for carrying out full and comprehensive watch‑keeping rounds in all main machinery spaces. Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the main machinery spaces;
bring any engine room defects, or report to relevant engineering staff;
assess and take preliminary actions in a machinery space emergency. Responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining the engine room, Tender maintenance and repairs

Position requirements

• 
  
• 1 to 2 year experience in equal position on a yacht.
  
• Qualifications needed: Approved Engine Course (AEC) Marine Engine Operator License (MEOL), Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW), Yacht 4 (Y4)
  
• Ability to work in a team.
  
• Fluent English mandatory.
  
• Valid Medical Certificate, ENG1 and relevant STCW95
