As a 2nd Engineer, you will serve as a role model, responsible for performing engine watch operations. You’ll be responsible for controlling and maintaining machineries, updating and controlling the planned maintenance system (PMS) and ensuring safety standards.

Get things right:
- You will be responsible for carrying out your watch according to the official standards (6 hours watchkeeping shift).
- You will oversee maintenance and checks according to PMS for the designated tasks in cooperation with the Senior Engineer of the watch.
- You will report all relevant changes and information to the SEOOW.
- You will guide your colleagues in their professional development, following trainings and safety protocols.
- You will cultivate a supportive work environment and motivate your team to achieve excellent results.

What makes you unique:
- You are holder of national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) as per STCW regulations.
- You have at least one year of experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise vessel or 2nd Engineer on different kinds.
- You have a B2 spoken level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- You have good communication skills; you are a curious, organized and determined person with experience in people management.
