1st Officer 40+ M/Y Yacht - Sof

A private & charter use 40 M/Y M Motor Yacht sailing the Mediterranean is looking for a 1st Officer for a seasonal term starting in June. Highly competent, good at Manoeuvres, navigation. Presentable person, fit, excellent references.

- Second in command and reports to captain.
- In charge of deck crew: second officer, third officer, bosun and deckhands.
- He or the second officer designated security, safety and medical officer.
- Responsible for overseeing deck operations and maintenance.
- Deck budgeting/inventory, supervision of all toys and tenders, setup of watch schedules and passage planning.
Competitive salary paid in euros.
Position requirements
- English fluent, French will be plus.
- EU passport.
- Watch keeping.
- Good navigational skills.
- A charismatic and unflappable personality.
- Excellent leadership, etiquette and communication skills.
- Maintenance and engineering experience or understanding.
- Good grasp of accounting and IT.

Seasonal from 1st of June to end of September.
